WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Does this sound like you? If so, in this role you will craft the vision and lead the overall strategic development for Jordan Brand Sport across GC. You will partner closely with our Global, Geo and Territories to set clear distribution and merchandising strategies, meet financial targets and drive the brand strategy for Jordan Sport. You will effectively implement long-term roadmaps in support of enterprise-wide priorities, delivering substantial growth and profitability to the region and business.
Through your deep brand connection and strong understanding of the global marketplace, you will pioneer critical consumer-focused offenses and targeted marketing campaigns. You will deliver compelling seasonal storytelling, implement outstanding marketing architecture, and drive large-scale transformation.
You will serve as a cross-functional leader to teams responsible for the following critical priorities:
- Adopting, pricing, flowing, assortment and buying
- Demand forecasting and depth planning
- Driving the brand marketing strategy for Jordan Sport
You will define and resolve complex issues to deliver positive outcomes, meet key business objectives and make significant marketplace impact.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
The GM, Jordan Sport, GC will report directly to our General Manager for Jordan GC. This leader will collaborate with Marketplace, Marketing, Merchandising, Product, Brand, HR, Strategy, Planning, Finance and Communications teams. You will champion positive relationships with Global counterparts as a proponent and representative for GC Consumer & Marketplace.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING?
- Bachelors degree and 10 years directly relevant experience.
- Comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or industry expert
- Excellent ability to influence, negotiate, prioritize, and focus.
- Experience guiding and driving the implementation of innovative solutions to address complex problems in ambiguous and matrixed environments.
- Consumer-centric perspective with a specific lens on gender inclusivity
- In-depth understanding of consumer buying habits, the marketplace, and the brand
- Optimism, dynamism, and experience coaching, managing, and mentoring. Genuine interest in learning new ways to grow themself and others.
