Open to remote work except in South Dakota, Vermont and West Virginia.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $99,500.00 in our lowest geographic market to $222,900.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for an innovative and experienced expert in the strategy, translation and application of consumer analytics to join our team. You'll be tasked with identifying opportunities to use consumer knowledge to influence decision-making and to translate analytics and insights into action for our Converse Direct teams.

  • Develop new modeling methodologies and perform analytical reviews to assess model performance and determine new marketing attribution solutions.
  • Drive improvement for more efficient features, processes, tools and resources across teams that makes interpretation of data more efficient, accessible, and discoverable.
  • Building new reports in Tableau to automate data collection.
  • Develop and implement models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to solve complex business problems
  • Lead the data-driven decision-making process, from data collection and analysis to implementation and monitoring of solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and objectives, translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and advancements in data science and machine learning, continuously improving our methodologies and technologies

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Decision Science, Applied Math, Economics, Behavioral Science or other quantitative discipline. Advanced degree in Data Science or Analytics is strongly preferred
  • 5+ years working in applied data or quantitative digital research setting with a track record of delivering insights and business impact preferred
  • A background in the production of consumer data, testing, or customer research in e-commerce, retail, or digital products for targeted communications and consumer journeys

Qualifications

  • Experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as marketing mix, predictive modeling, multivariate regression analysis and ROI measurement
  • Experience solving complex analytical problems with deep customer focus, applying advanced analytical methods as needed, including big data analysis using SQL, R, Python and other software applications.
  • Expertise using data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Experience with large datasets and relational databases
  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Experience with Databricks is a plus
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of large data projects with multiple business stakeholders in a fast-moving, matrixed setting.
  • Track record of being resourceful, identifying creative solutions and discovering new data sets/methodologies to answer business questions a plus
  • Demonstrated experience working successfully in cross-functional teams with varied levels of understanding of data
