The annual base salary for this position ranges from $62,200.00 in our lowest geographic market to $139,200.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

We seek Jordan Brand Flight Ambassadors who embody the endless pursuit of greatness and have unwavering love and loyalty to the Brand. As the authority for our Brand stories, you will live out our values and attitude across cities. You are a visionary thinker who serves the consumer and the Brand by building and cultivating community relationships and translating insights into breakthrough ideas and experiences. This role will be based in Chicago, Illinois at our Chicago Headquarters.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher, or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in retail, sales, customer service, mentoring, or instructing. Candidates should demonstrate an understanding of the distinct Jordan proposition and new generation opportunities.
  • Knowledge: Proven knowledge of basketball, streetwear, and cultural landscapes, including consumer trends, local market hot spots, and retail destinations.
  • Passion: A proven passion for staying at the forefront of sport and streetwear culture.
  • Community Connections: Strong connections to influential creative communities and the middle school and high school athlete community in the assigned city are highly preferred.
  • Skills: Proven ability to connect and encourage people, facilitate meetings, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Testing and Learning: Ability to drive a culture of always-on testing and learning, rapidly applying consumer signals into strategy, planning, and content iteration.
  • Brand Loyalty: Deep passion for the Jordan Brand, sports, and culture.
  • Digital Presence: Positive and active presence on social media and digital platforms, with experience in content creation and online storytelling.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects and sample bags weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Event Experience: Experience with an event agency or large-scale special events is preferred but not required.

What you will work on

As a Jordan Brand Flight Ambassador, you will be one of the driving forces behind bringing Jordan Brand stories to life across the key city. As an authenticating voice of your city, you will actively participate in and cultivate the Jordan Brand community, integrating and collaborating with the community in meaningful ways. Flight Ambassadors are the ever-present eyes and ears of Jordan Brand where you will tap into your marketplace expertise to help develop insightful and locally relevant seasonal plans. In this role, you will uncover consumer and marketplace insights of the consumer, product, competition, and trends that help keep Jordan on the forefront of sport and culture. Additionally, you will be responsible for connecting with key city protagonists and key retail partners, helping to keep a pulse on the city to unlock unique consumer interactions and identify white spaces for the Jordan Brand.

  • Focus on Jordan Brand areas: Maintain authentic and consistent city impact by building relationships across key sport and cultural communities while delivering elevated product storytelling with key retail and NBHD partners.
  • Exploring White Space: Demonstrate a commitment to showing up for your city by serving with distinction and finding new white spaces that will allow the Brand to continue driving authentic connections.
  • Active participation: Engage authentically and credibly within influential sport and cultural communities, demonstrating strong relationship-building and management skills.
  • Community collaboration: Integrate and collaborate with the community in ways that reinforce Jordan Brand's attitude, mission, and beliefs and help us to explore the white space.
  • Marketplace insights: Serve as Jordan Brand's eyes and ears on the ground, crafting insights with observations of the consumer, product, competition, trends, and city needs across sport and culture.
  • Seasonal plans: Support the City Brand team to develop locally relevant, distinct, and innovative seasonal plans across Energy, Sport, and Streetwear.
  • Product authority: As the authority on Jordan Brand's products, Flight Ambassadors use their voice both internally, and at times, externally to empower all athletes unlock their greatness.
  • Storytelling: You will be a key voice and storyteller with our local retail and NBHD partners to help educate and authenticate our innovation and products.
  • Strategic authentication: Demonstrate your passion and position to authenticate Jordan Brand stories in the marketplace.

Who you'll work with:

You will report to the Key City Jordan Brand team and work closely with your City and Geography Marketing teams to prioritize seasonal opportunities. You will work most closely with the Energy field of play team, helping to authenticate our Brand across key communities and spaces, and will also partner across Sport and Streetwear. Additionally, you will collaborate and work closely with executional partners across the organization to support select retail training and athlete education needs across the marketplace.
