WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
When the game changes this fast, you need an expert to keep the team aligned. We're looking for an Transformation, Organization Strategy and Culture (TOC) Director to lead organization development in our Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) geography. This role will drive operating model design initiatives and support transformation efforts to enable our strategy within a dynamic and diverse marketplace. The candidate will be a systems thinker and an experienced advisor, p ractitioner and consultant, with a track record of successfully leading complex transformation efforts in a global context.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this critical role, you'll manage the strategy and execution of operating model evolutions in our EMEA business and partner on the people and organization aspects of the transformation portfolio. In a typical day you'll be partnering with cross-functional leaders to translate our strategy into reality, ensuring our teams are optimally set up to deliver their best work for consumers, and facilitating teaming interventions to coach teams to high performance. You'll lead assessments of our operating model, scope transformation initiatives, and design holistic solutions to evolve our capabilities, structure, processes and people.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will expertly navigate NIKE's global matrix. Reporting to our Senior Director, Geos & Marketplace, you will be a part of both a global TOC team and also be deeply embedded in our EMEA geography. This role is also part of the EMEA HR Leadership Team and contributes to the overall leadership of the HR function by working with functional HRBPs and Center of Excellence partners. You will build credibility and strong working relationships with our senior most leaders and their teams across EMEA. To do your best work, you will frequently start your day collaborating with peers in Greater China, pivot to engage with EMEA stakeholders, and finish with connections across our TOC teams based in the US. As a people manager you will define and oversee the work of others, developing them to meet both their career goals and the oganization's goals.
WHAT YOU BRING
Experience working as a consultant or lead on large scale organizational transformation efforts, in multi-national companies, and in a variety of strategic contexts
Practitioner of full system design (structural and non-structural) focused on holistically assessing and designing aligned organizational capabilities, structures, processes, and success metrics in service of accelerating strategic objectives
Ability to advise on successful activation and implementation of organizational transformations, particularly change management, culture and team effectiveness
Strong generalist management consulting skillset, including project scoping and management, hypothesis development, research, benchmarking and trend identification
Expresses a strong perspective and philosophy on how to approach and lead operating model transformation. Ability to talk to relevant examples and brings a suite of tools and best practices to the table. Builds capability in others.
Possess confidence and skill to coach and support senior leaders through transformation projects, drive clear decision making and accountability
Master at designing and facilitating group processes and conversations. Ability to create inclusive environments for multiple perspectives to be discussed and safe conditions for productive conflict
Excels at managing complexity, navigating ambiguity and adapting plans to changing environments and priorities
Superior communication and presentation skills with the ability to create compelling narrative and engage senior audiences
Available to travel up to 20% within Europe and globally
NIKE's business is conducted in English. Fluency in both written and spoken English is required for this role.
Experience with Works Council and/or Union engagement is helpful and will accelerate onboarding
