The team includes operations experts focused on Merchandising, Design, Apparel, Footwear, and our consumers that work alongside teams that enable insights, data, critical investment projects, and our product lifecycle.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

In this role you will report to the Senior Director of Men's Operations and partner closely with the Global Men's Nike Sportswear (NSW) leaders as a member of the Men's NSW Leadership team. In addition, you will partner closely with Women's and Kids NSW leaders and teams, and work across other areas of the business to ensure continuity and alignment of strategies and plans.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Director of Men's NSW Operations. As a member of the Men's NSW leadership team, you will be accountable for driving the translation of strategy into operational action in both seasonal and season-agnostic processes. You will shape cross-functional seasonal process to develop compelling, consumer-right concepts, refine them as functional inputs mature into real products, marketing experiences, and marketplace plans, and ultimately deliver inspiring and actionable tools to Geo teams to bring to life.

The ideal candidate must be a strategic thought-partner with a passion for serving our consumer and product excellence. This person must have the drive to sense and scope problems across the sizeable Sportswear business, connect and align across consumer-groups, Energy partners, and geographies, as well as the agility to pivot and respond to a dynamic business landscape.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10+ years of Product, Consumer, and or Operations experience
  • Proven ability to work on cross-functional teams, influence leadership and drive project momentum forward
  • Excellent strategic agility and ability to pivot plans in flight
  • Calm, focused presence on a team that metabolizes a lot of change
  • Strong resource management skills with the ability to lead workstreams on-time and in-budget
  • Strong, people-first partnership mindset to Women's and Kids NSW teams

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

In this role you will establish the Operational playbook for Men's NSW, from Concept Launch to Global-Geo Pivot to Franchise Reporting post-launch. You will drive our seasonal strategy and ensure the cross-functional deliverables cohere and can be executed downstream. You will create and manage a standard of practice ensuring the highest standard of quality, consistency, accuracy while pushing the boundaries of current operations.

As a people manager, you will also lead a direct report to work together to operate both Men's NSW and the SB business. In your work with the Men's NSW team, you will lead a squad of cross-functional experts in delivering our concepts from design to market ensuring timely planning and execution through the critical dates for our seasons. As an experienced operator and leader who builds from the ground up and brings people along the way, you will guide our leadership team through our product, marketing, and marketplace processes leveraging existing and always evolving processes.

  • Ability to think strategically about product, marketing, and marketplace delivery
  • Ability to create plans for seasonal concepts, and provide short and long-term direction for the team
  • A knack for framing opportunities, synthesizing challenging problems and comfort with ambiguity
  • Can-do attitude and history of making stuff happen independently and as part of a team

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once
