The North America Brand Management Team (across Women's/Men's/Kids) is the marketing function responsible for leading and driving plans that serve the brand and business. Our goal is to know & serve inspiration, innovation and enablement to unlock the power of sport for every athlete.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for an experienced Brand Director to join our Men's Sportswear team and help lead our Brand Marketing offense in North America. To be considered for this role, you must be a consumer and sportswear obsessed marketer with global fluency, be a solution-oriented strategic leader, a team-first collaborator, an energy-giving partner, and brand innovator with an openness to learn.

As part of our North America Men's Brand Management team, you will leverage your deep and authentic understanding of the NA sportswear landscape from streetwear to sneaker culture to innovate the stories we tell and the cross-functional marketing we deliver. This role will drive functional excellence within the Men's Sportswear field of play across North America, Global, and key cities, with a specific focus on driving our Sportswear strategy in North America. Reporting directly to the NA Senior Director of Men's Sportswear, you will be responsible for creating brand plans that grow the brand and business while creating deeper, lasting relationships with athletes
.

Qualified candidates should have experience leading brand vision and planning, orchestrating full funnel marketing, partnering with athletes, collaborators, and retailers, defining and activating evergreen and seasonal plans and managing diverse teams. Your brand leadership should come from a comprehensive grasp of sportswear, a passion for coming up with new ideas that solve the needs of athletes, and the ability to lead multiple projects across a matrixed organization.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will partner with our Global Brand Management Team, marketing functional partners, and city leaders to bring North American dimension to Brand marketing plans and key consumer concepts including marketing briefs, strategic tools and marketing initiatives that fuel our seasonal initiatives and long-term consumer concepts.

You will work across global, geo and cities to drive a robust concept map and continually build new consumer experiences that accelerate Sportswear brand and business growth opportunities internally and externally.

As the North America Men's Sportswear Brand Director, you will:

  • Obsess the Sportswear consumer and his needs
  • Drive and deliver the North America brand strategy for Sportswear, delivering consistent consumer experiences and activations designed for the North America consumer across key North America & Global moments
  • Manage team collaboration from idea to execution, engaging with our key cross-functional and cross-sport partners
  • Partner with Entertainment and Sports Marketing to elevate athlete storytelling and integration into NA programming and activations
  • Support an end-to-end process to gain insight from consumers including cultural trends
  • Oversee brand campaigns and product integration into seasonal programming
  • Support development of annual and seasonal programming plans
  • Manage asset development and distribution across multiple channels
  • Identify integrated opportunities and synergies between Sportswear and performance and/or sport teams to build the strongest end-in-mind experience for the consumer across sport and culture
  • Partner with city teams to activate Sportswear plans in the communities that drive maximum impact and influence
  • Track and manage seasonal campaign progress measurement, including recapping + teardowns.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

As the North America Men's Sportswear Brand Director, you will report directly into the North America Men's Sportswear Senior Brand Director.

In partnership with the Senior Director, you will lead a team to orchestrate the marketing offense that drives brand storytelling, fuel consumer demand, and build authentic connections with soccer communities.

You will collaborate with teammates across Nike to build more effective and efficient ways to encourage and connect with Soccer and athletes across the geography. Key internal and external partners include:

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a closely related field
  • 10+ years of experience in brand marketing or related experience
  • Demonstrated genuine passion and deep understanding of culture and fashion
  • Extensive knowledge of the Nike Sportswear product
  • Experience leading and managing diverse teams, with a team-first mentality and ability to influence decision makers
  • Digital first mindset with strong initiative and curiosity to cultivate innovation
  • External facing experience with league and retail partners
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to balance creativity with organization and discipline in fast moving, ambiguous environment
