WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
The Director, Global Talent Executive Pipeline Practices will play a pivotal role in crafting and implementing well-rounded executive talent practices. This includes the development of strategic talent pipelining strategies to build critical cabailities and career paths for key talent, and succession planning for NIKE's top executive jobs.
In this role, you will build an end-to-end pipeline and succession strategy, encompassing the entire talent lifecycle from selection to development to movement/placement. You will identify and build key identification strategies for key business pipelines, including our General Management (GM) pipeline, as well as critical populations, such as our high potential talent. You will also play a pivotal role in driving NIKE's assessment philosophy and practice - influencing the global strategy for assessments at NIKE. Additionally, you will design integrated executive practices that support strong decision making as it relates to talent across the employee lifecycle (e.g., frameworks and criteria for succession, talent planning, leadership potential, talent pipelining, etc.), as well as exceptional leader experiences.
You will partner closely with Talent Manangement, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development to ensure our career and succession practices are consistent across internal and external hiring, and that our assessment and development strategies are grounded in NIKE's talent philosophy. Lastly, you will partner with key stakeholders across the Talent COE & HR Leadership team and with external vendors to build additional career and talent solutions for Nike leaders. This role will also provide guidance and thought leadership to the People Analytics team on key insights and metrics used for reporting in scorecards, dashboards, and other reporting.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You'll report to the Senior Director, Global Talent Practices and work closely with teammates across the Talent COE, Business HR, HR Leadership Teams, People Solutions, Employee Communications, Business Leaders as well as external partners.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 9+ years of relevant work experience or in a related field.
- 5-7+ years of Talent Management, Leadership Assessment and Development, relevant HR, OD, or Consulting experience.
- Bachelor's degree, Masters or PhD in I/O Psychology a related field or a combination of relevant experience, education and training.
- Bring expertise across a variety of disciplines within Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, DEI and Leadership Development.
- Experience with implementing talent solutions in Workday or other Talent systems a plus.
- Proven ability to create strategies, practical approaches, and implement global programs and practices at scale.
- Solid ability to sift through data, identify critical information, develop hypotheses and measure impact and outcomes.
- Brings strong storytelling, change management, and experience-based design.
- Strong leadership skills, expertise in coaching, providing feedback at the executive level and demonstrated ability to lead a matrixed team and influence across the organization.
- Demonstrable track record of implementing global solutions and leading large, complex projects and teams.
