WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

This role will be the core leadership for Korea Nike Owned Stores including NSO (Nike Stores Owned) and NVS (Nike Value Stores). On a daily basis, this role will work closely with senior retail managers as well as a large, diverse team of Nike cross-functional partners including DSM (Demand Supply Management) planning, Finance, Retail Marketing and GEO counterparts and cross-functions. This role will report to Senior Director of Nike Direct Stores based in Korea to build, align and execute Nike Stores strategy.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The candidate needs to possess a clear vision of future retail with strong growth mindset in business and people management. The ideal candidate should have a strong competence, including operations and analytical abilities, while translating Nike Brand strategy into execution at and NSO and NVS. Additionally, the candidate will have a passion for delivering a premium consumer journey at stores.

  • 13+ years of experience in retail management, brand management, marketing, planning and closely related field with bachelors' degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • As an inspiring leader who amplifies optimism to the teams, demonstrate people-oriented leadership along with influential skill to lead and develop high performing teams for corporate and retail
  • Own retail management and marketplace expertise with digital, real estate & financial acumen
  • Have entrepreneurship and strategic thinking, plus E2E business management skills
  • Fluent both in English & Korean

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

If this is you, you will create and drive Korea owned stores strategy to elevate retail & deliver business result for NSO (Nike Stores Owned) and NVS (Nike Value Stores) in partnership with Korea and GEO Stores leadership.

You are responsible for leading and managing a dynamic, multi-concept, in-line retail store business to achieve sustainable sales and profit growth by developing strategies that enhance the Nike Brand in Retail. In this role, you'll develop strategic and operational plans and enable teams to enhance the Nike experience for our consumers. You will demonstrate deep brick & mortar expertise to maximize the territory talent and operating agendas.

  • Lead cross-functional offense to identify trends, build plans, read & react to the business to maximize business opportunity.
  • Influence and validate seasonal planning of NSO and NVS stores through Code (Go-to-Market) process.
  • Manage and develop Senior Retail Managers to unlock potential.
  • Drive retail concept strategy and CFoP (Consumer x Field of Play) offense across fleet of stores.
  • Champion Stores acting as conduit between SRMs ( Senior Retail Manager ) and cross-functional teams to address opportunities and drive issue resolution on behalf of stores
