Report to: Senior Director, Digital & Social Marketplace Operations, GC
Job purpose:
This role is responsible for leading SC social & O2O team, creating the new channels and building up end-to-end new capability to maximize topline growth and margin expansion
Main Responsibilities:
Social Marketplace Operation
- Develop social commerce supply chain and operation capabilities to meet complex, diverse and dynamic marketplace needs
- Build up resilient supply chain service to better fulfil digital & social consumer services
- Coordinate with cross-function teams to achieve business target
- Monitor overall operation performance
- Exceptional case root cause analysis and solve the issue
- Optimization overall operation process
Project Management
- Initiate supply chain improvement projects to implement the GC social commerce strategy
- Lead projects with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure on-time high-quality project results delivery
- Lead the presentation to the leadership team for the project status update on a regular basis
- Key point of contact in global-led projects and provide local insights
Team Lead and talent development
Requirement:
- Minimum 10 years working experience in the retail industry; Consulting background is a plus
- Rich experience in leading an end-to-end supply chain and operation team in multinational companies
- Expertise experience in major social commerce platforms and livestream business/ operation model
- Breakthrough mindset for supply chain and operation excellence and innovation
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; skillful at influencing and motivating others, both in English and Chinese
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Attention to detail while being able to abstract insights and implications on a high level for decision-making
- Experience in leading the implementation of strategic decisions within the operational units
- Proficient project management knowledge and experience is a plus
