WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

This role will be a member of the Apparel & Accessories Sourcing Leadership team. You will collaborate with Consumer Fields of Play Sourcing, Responsive Sourcing and Long Range Sourcing. There will be a strong emphasis on engaging with external stakeholders across Global Manufacturing, Global Supply Planning, Product Development and our factory partners. This role will manage a team of 8-10 direct reports.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Seasonal Sourcing and Capacity Management Director who will work with the Global Sourcing Leadership team and cross functional partners.

You will play a critical role leading the Seasonal Capacity Planning team and managing key performance indicators while working in a Global and cross-functional environment. The ideal candidate must have a consistent track record of leading within a large cross functional matrix organization with equal parts passion for exploration, innovation and execution.

This role creates the seasonal sourcing capacity plan. This role is responsible for managing seasonal sourcing decisions across key dates and managing volatility of the seasonal plan until all production is placed at the Apparel and Accessories factories for a given season. You will do this by leading cross-functional processes, collaborating with stakeholders, using advanced optimization tools, tracking progress against KPIs and communicating to key stakeholders.

The candidate will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
  • Have minimum of 9 years directly relevant work experience (supply chain, product or manufacturing).
  • Have Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain Planning experience (highly desirable), across an outsourced and offshore manufacturing base. Specifically knowledge of the apparel (textile, trim, packaging, garment) manufacturing and supply chain is preferred.
  • Are an effective leader, coach and 'inspirer' for your team. Recognizes and develops talent, encourages cross-training of skill-sets.
  • Experience with optimization tools, scenario planning, data & analytics
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including superior presentation skills
  • Adapt and adjust plans in a volatile environment (are tolerant for ambiguity)
  • Are positive about the futures, see and seek opportunities to continuously improve yourself, your team and your business
  • Demonstrate willingness to act decisively and to take calculated risks
  • Seek information, isolate, analyze and resolve issues, with strong analytical skills with an ability to distinguish the vitally important (high impact)

  • Are able to travel, approx.. 15% of the time

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

This role will create the Seasonal Sourcing Capacity plan that ensures on time delivery to the Nike consumer and creates balance between profitability, sustainability, capability, and responsiveness. Communication of the Apparel and Accessory capacity plan across the organization, from tactical communication to senior leadership, to ensure alignment is a key deliverable. You will drive alignment with your peers and direct reports to ensure we are continuously improving and are meeting Nike's goals of delivering to our customers on time responsibly, responsively and profitably while also managing our factory partners loading health. You will create and maintain strong cross-functional and stakeholder partnerships. This role will be an enterprise leader for the Global Sourcing and Manufacturing team and will be asked to represent Sourcing and Manufacturing on critical cross functional project teams.
