Nike Kildare is looking for a Commercial & Operations Manager (Coach) to join our team and provide world-class service to the consumer. As our Commercial & Operations Coach your role is crucial to the effective running of the store. You will be focused on visual merchandising, profit and loss control, customer satisfaction and retail shrinkage results by overseeing processes. You will drive and inspire your commercial and operations team to deliver a world-class indirect consumer experience through market leading visual merchandising, processing stock efficiently and ensuring that the back of house environment mirrors the unique energy, passion and innovation our consumer experience on the shop floor.

- Using your expertise in the field of exceptional consumer service to serve and deliver a premium brand experience
- Leading, coaching and motivating the employees in your department and ensuring an excellent work atmosphere
- Managing the daily business in your department to reach sales targets (incl. digital services, visual merchandising, salesfloor)
- Identifying and improving areas based on feedback given by consumers
- Being a brand ambassador of NIKE's initiatives including training your team
- Ensuring that the store complies with all NIKE standards and guidelines
- Cooperating with your business partners across stores and HQ
Our Coaches specialize in one business area but will support cross-functionally:
Commercial & Operations
- Oversee and sign-off overall visual merchandising execution for all departments
- Utilize Nike Tools for VM and ensure teams are up to date on guidelines
- Lead Commercial Planning for the team
- Connect with Allocation to lead Planning
- Plan & execute all Markdown / Promotion activity
- Deliver training on markdown and Promotional tools
- Lead team towards consistent RFID compliance
- Train the team to utilize full product refill capabilities
- Train the team on all Stockroom best practices and procedure
- Obsess Operational Excellence to maintain all SLA's
- Managing all daily activities with the operational and back of house areas of the store, including cash office, H&S policy and procedures, stock flow and loss prevention, product management, scheduling and planning
- Lead, coach drive and inspire associates within a designated area
- Identify issues and opportunities based on selling and customer feedback
- Assist the Store Manager in delivering a premium consumer and employee experience
- Demonstrable experience in retail management, including experience in coaching and developing people
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to use retail business systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed

What you bring:
- A passion for NIKE and/or love of sport
- Some experience in retail and/or leadership positions
- Very good command of English language (written and spoken)
- Experience and competency in serving exceptional consumer service
- Ability to coach and develop a strong team
- Strong focus on communication
- Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends
