WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You'll lead a team of specialists and report into a Customs Manager who will help to achieve your development goals. You'll participate in cross functional meetings with our internal partners (TNO, Finance, Technology, Distribution, ...) and represent your team within wider meetings. Besides internal partners you will also build strong relationships with external partners (customs authorities, filing partners...) to ensure that we respond to the dynamic consumer expectations of the market in a compliant way.

- You have a background in or are interested in customs processes, logistics and international trade and are enthusiastic to grow in this space
- You are service minded with a passion towards coaching, leading, and inspiring a team
- Buckle up! You need to be flexible, with a constructive way of thinking and willing to operate in a high paced environment
- You are an excellent communicator in English, Dutch is a strong plus! Convey your ideas to make next level progress.
- We need a multitasker who can streamline varying priorities, a self-steering teammate with proven partner management skills
- You preferably have that sporty, analytical and critical attitude with the ability to dribble with data, identifying improvement opportunities.
IMPORTANT AND NON-NEGOTIABLE NOTE:
- No relocation package/deal: candidates must currently reside in Belgium to be considered for this position. Applications from outside Belgium will not be accepted.
- Current hybrid working situation: 2 days/week home office, 3 days/week at the office. (You need to be able to come to the office by own means, we do not recommend public transport for this site)

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
Our Customs team takes care of a flawless execution of the import and export processes across our supply chain, while maintaining and ensuring compliancy within predefined standards. The constantly evolving market expectations and priorities set the pace for our team. To stay on top of the game you'll be continuously building strong partnerships with the internal and external partners. In this role you'll lead, coach, and inspire a team of customs specialists who will be responsible for a smooth execution of the customs processes as well as working on process improvements. Your role as a Customs Coach is to support your team in the day-to-day execution, issue management and resolution, guide them through different transitions and focus on innovative solutions to continuously improve Nike's processes.
