WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

Reporting into the Transition and Legacy Director you will work closely with multiple functions such as Marketplace Supply Chain, Transportation, Distribution, Technology, Demand Supply Management, Sales & Inventory Planning to coordinate, lead and implement a successful business transition strategy for the UK DC.

As a Business Transition Manager you will be a key member of the Transition and Legacy team with responsibility for developing a clear business transition strategy and roadmap for the successful launch of the DC in 2027. The ambition is clear: to build an iconic omnichannel DC encompassing the best innovation, automation and design. This is not your average DC; this is the game changer that will create a special home for new athletes joining us on our journey to serve consumers with Nike's renowned energy and passion. In this role you will develop and implement plans and processes in support of the business readiness, leading the offense on all change management activities.

  • You have demonstrable and relevant experience in change & transition management as well as project management in large scale projects.
  • You are a team player with the ability to network, influence and utilize internal and external resources in an effective way.
  • Experience with change and program management techniques, frameworks and tools
  • You have strong formal and informal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a large, matrixed organisation, successfully influencing others and building collaborative partnerships to deliver large scale cross-functional projects.

The role will be based in the UK, with occasional travel required to our existing Distribution Campus in Belgium and our European Headquarters in Hilversum. The role will require 3 days a week presence on site from April 1st 2025.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You are playing a key role in ensuring business continuity and drive the business change management process for the UK DC from design through to go live and stabilization. You will define the business transition framework and together with key stakeholders own and execute against the business transition roadmap. The role requires building and maintaining effective relationships with internalconsumer facing teams across our European HQ (Amsterdam) as well as logistics functions in the European Logistics Center (Belgium).

  • Develop and implement the business transition strategy for the UK DC
  • Define the engagement model for business transition and drive ownership of the transition plan via the relevant functions
  • Own business transition management plans and organizational readiness activities.
  • Engage, inform, align, and inspire key transition decisions with stakeholders and their groups
  • Define and align DC go live activities across product, process, volume ramp up, stock transfer plans & stabilization requirements
  • Develop & maintain the business transition plan and relevant milestones as well as ensure its integrated with overall program
