WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

As a Brand Creative Strategist, you will build the voice that expresses the heart and soul of the Nike brand, leveraging athletes
, products and services to inspire our consumer. Therefore, you bring proven experience in collaborating with other creatives, art directors, designers, and producers, as well as, external creative partners. You understand and participate in strategic conversations, whilst working through the different project stages of concepting, development and execution.

Strategic and with a curious mind, you're not afraid of working within new areas where you can learn and push your thinking to deliver innovative storytelling. You are a self-starter, leading and prioritizing your time as needed. You're outstanding at crafting the detail all the way to delivery and proactively look to build on these skills. Without fail you're able to present your creative ideas articulately to others and implement plans against a clear brief in a timely manner.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

The BC team works on complex workstreams in order to develop well-crafted storytelling that expresses the heart and soul of the Nike brand, leveraging athletes, products and services to inspire our consumer. You will help build and champion creative concepts and storytelling across EMEA aligned to the strategic direction provided by EMEA Brand Marketing category leaders.

Our Strategists deliver end-to-end creative concepts across brand stories, key athlete and sport moments, product launches, retail activations and more. Working through development of the strategy and concept together with key partners and finishing with premium executions at all levels across all channels.

Working on multiple projects at the same time, you'll be required to carefully plan and handle your schedule effectively. You will also need to communicate your concepts to various internal and external audiences, whilst being able to take on strategic and creative feedback to help drive the development of the work.

Working closely with the wider creative team, you'll be involved in crafting the future voice and storyline of the brand across every consumer touchpoint. You will proactively stay ahead of the best storytelling practices, digital developments and trends, sharing this knowledge and successfully applying it to the work.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will report into a "Consumer x Fields of play" Creative Director, but day-to-day you'll work with a team of Designers, Art Directors and Producers across multiple workstreams. Beyond this core team, you will also collaborate with a bunch of external creatives partners - commissioning various work across multiple fields.

You will collaborate with your counterparts across the EMEA City Studios as well as the Global Brand Creative team to ensure consistency across our work and help establish and develop our network in the industry.

Within the broader Marketing organisation you will work closely with other teams such as Brand Marketing, Nike Direct and Catalyst Marketing to strategise and complete the annual concept map, developing and delivering creative that answers the brief.

Aside from that, our brand creative strategists drive high collaboration standards and making sure the team get regular opportunity to learn, inspire and share knowledge with each other.

WHAT YOU BRING:

A successful candidate will clearly demonstrate experience of the below crucial requirements to be considered for this role.

1. Foundational

  • Passionate about Sports, the Sports Lifestyle, and the Culture around it.
  • Exposure to, and in-depth understanding of EMEA youth behavior.
  • Ability to travel - 10/20%.

2. Creative

  • Experience in an editorial, strategic, communications or creative capacity at an agency, brand, publisher or platform.
  • Experience in Global or Geo campaigns, from strategy, to concept, to premium executions across multiple channels and formats.
  • Adept at finding a sharp POV and interesting ways to engage consumers in a big idea.
  • Experience working on photography and film productions; from pre-production to post-production.
  • Fluent in GenZ consumer behavior and language, content consumption habits and channels.
  • On the pulse of emerging macro and micro content trends.
  • Creative development experience across a variety of formats i.e. short & long form video, film, audio, editorial, social, live streaming, etc.
  • Understanding of the evolving media and content landscape across sport, fashion, lifestyle and sneaker culture.
  • Copywriting experience is a huge bonus.
