We’re looking for an energetic quick learner to join our Sales Support Team in Rochester, NY. The Sales team is responsible for delivering amazing sales experiences to small businesses to help them find the best insurance coverage for their business. The ideal candidate possesses the desire to learn and be a part of a team. You’ll be assisting a team of sales professionals with a high level of responsibility and room for growth. 

 

What you’ll do: 

  • Enter and assign all leads sent by email from Partners, Next sales reps or Next website 
  • Update the quote price(s) and status in Salesforce for the insurance sales advisor
  • Assist sales department by calling or emailing for client information 
  • Perform other functions to support the Sales Department
  • Assist producers in developing existing accounts along with marketing and coverage analysis in support of the producer.
  • Provide quality submissions to up to 13 carriers – inside and outside of carrier systems
  • Analyze and evaluate new risks.
  • Ensure accurate file and database set up.
  • Partner with sales staff. Communicate accurate information .
  • Attach documentation and communications in salesforce
  • Performs quality control on all new sales being issued with carriers to ensure proper classification and documentation
  • Demonstrate a proactive and systematic approach to information gathering, analysis and problem solving.
  • Communicating carrier risk appetites /carrier information and target classes of business with sales producers & management

 

What we need: 

  • 1+ years of work experience (data entry or administrative experience a plus)
  • Working knowledge of common computer systems and programs
  • BA/BS required
  • High attention to detail

 

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the location(s) listed. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including, without limitation, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. NEXT employees are eligible to participate in our equity incentive program and will also receive our benefits package, consisting of our partially subsidized medical plan, fully subsidized vision/dental options, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k), flexible paid time off, parental leave and more.

US hourly range for this full-time position:
$20$22 USD
