To support NetApp's vision, the Data services team is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Data services team.
As a seasoned Quality Assurance engineer, you will work as part of a team of skilled and passionate engineers responsible for participating in the design discussion, Test Plan, and Test Case development, engaging in different types of testing, and automating Test Cases. You will also engage with other QA teams and Dev counterparts. Your role encompasses guiding junior engineers in the team, coming up with ideas to improve test coverage and automation, reduce field issues, and improve overall quality. This position requires an individual to be creative, team-oriented, technology-savvy and driven to produce results

Job Requirements
Solid Python automation and debugging skills
Ability to comprehend Functional Spec, Design Spec, and Test Plan in sufficient detail.
Ability to devise incisive and robust Test Cases, execute and automate them, and find and report issues
Ability to analyze and RCA customer/internal found issues, identify test gaps and fill them
Good understanding of Storage concepts
Candidates with hands-on/project experience or familiarity with Computer Architecture, Operating Systemic concepts, and File Systems concepts will be given a preference.
Nice to Have
Experience with RestAPI testing, AWS/Azure cloud
Working experience with ONTAP is desirable
Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
Work collaboratively within and outside the team of other engineers and Sr leaders
Ability to estimate work completion for project planning
Requires limited supervision and direction
Successfully convey information to stakeholders at many levels related to the position
Education
5-8 years of industry experience in the relevant domain is required
A B.Tech/BE in CSE/ECE, a master's degree, or equivalent experience is required
