Job Summary
The Professional Services Consultant develops and delivers detailed technology solutions through consulting project activities. Responsibilities include client identification through final invoicing for engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills. Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment. Project management activities include interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring. May participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities. Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization. Performance is typically evaluated based on utilization, and measured by the capture of the consulting engagement and/or delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours. Performance is also evaluated based on adherence to solution implementation excellence and NetApp defined standards for the customer.

Flexibility is key as this role will be required to work remote and onsite, both locally and internationally, based on schedules and travel restrictions.
Due to these requirements, the candidate must currently be located in the Seattle, WA area.
Job Requirements
• Advanced level position for fully trained and experienced technology resource with significant professional technical field experience and customer and/or partner interaction
• Deploy post-sales hardware and software installations with medium to high level complexity
• Coordinate with senior customer representatives, NetApp Project Management and Sales teams in the performance of daily tasks
• Onsite and remote subject matter expert with NetApp, IT infrastructure, applications, and Cloud services
• Consistently prepared for all task assignments
• Provide project planning, design, implementation, and final "As-Built" documentation
• Design and architect company marketed solution sets and other custom consulting
• Follow appropriate escalation guidelines, as required, during customer engagements
• Maintains strong verbal and written communications skills
• Ensure all assigned work tasks are completed in an effective and efficient manner
• Performs as technical lead when deploying large complex projects
• Broad exposure and understanding of a variety of technologies/concepts in a distributed environment

Education/Experience
A minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience, as outlined above, is required.
Applicable NetApp or other technical certifications are a plus, but not required.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $155,000 - $190,000 and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
