Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Vendor Management Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a VMO Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our IT, and Global Procurement Services (GPS) organizations to manage contract and vendor support activities. Responsibilities include managing relationships with our major suppliers/vendors and ensuring positive collaboration between IT, GPS and vendors. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address any issues that may arise with vendors. Additionally, support the ongoing management of the Software Asset Management ServiceNow modules and software contracts, contributing to the end-to-end software lifecycle. You will utilize your strong functional business expertise to be successful in this role.

Job Requirements

  • Assist in the management of vendor relationships and oversee the execution of IT contracts and renewals.
  • Support the IT Vendor Management team in driving continuous value while mitigating risks.
  • Lead the Vendor Management QBRs, surveys, and action items.
  • Help in the resolution of disputes and manage the vendor relationship.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for efficient vendor onboarding and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on key issues and project milestones.
  • Provide guidance on vendor management processes and best practices.
  • Provide operational support by collaborating with GPS and IT for invoicing processes and addressing operational issues.
  • Drive ongoing process improvements and ever-greening documentation.
  • Aid in the ongoing maintenance of effective license positions for top software vendors and support software asset management.
  • Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.

Skills and Qualifications

Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience for the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strategic thinker with strong negotiation, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of IT support services.
  • Knowledge of software asset management and managing and tracking software contracts
  • Experience with vendor management tools and processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects and priorities.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $126,000 and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
