Job Summary

NetApp's Compensation organization seeks a Data Analyst who is passionate about using data to keep our programs competitive, solve problems, deliver insights, tell stories, and make an impact on employee experience and outcomes. This position combines responsibilities in HR data management and compensation analysis to provide valuable insights, maintain data integrity, and support compensation programs.

Your focus will be on compensation surveys, market analysis, data management, and people analytics. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally to understand reporting requirements, design effective solutions, offer insights from metrics, and develop reporting dashboards for a variety of audiences.

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Global Compensation.

Job Requirements

- 5+ years of data analytics, modeling, and/or data visualization experience in a similar people data role
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, HRIS platforms, and data analytics software (PowerBi, Tableau, SQL, Visier, OneModel, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience in compensation analysis, preferably with knowledge of Radford data and job matching
- Maintain and optimize Market Pay (survey management tool)
- Comfortable working on day to day, repetitive data tasks and stretching and developing with new complex data projects
- Conduct compensation analysis to ensure fairness and competitiveness across the organization, identifying trends, outliers, and opportunities for improvement
- Create automated processes, data visualization, and optimize current tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations
- Excellent interpersonal skills needed to prepare and present comprehensive reports, presentations, and executive summaries to communicate compensation analysis findings, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Ability to quickly adapt to and master new tools

Education

A minimum of 5 years of experience, as outlined above, is required.
Experience supporting a global technology company is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in human resources, finance, data analytics or business curriculum preferred, but not required

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $118,000 - $166,000 and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
