Job Summary
The Commercial Territory Representative role at NetApp is responsible for driving new business for the territory within NetApp's acquire segment leveraging the company's portfolio of Hybrid Cloud offerings. This includes responsibility for understanding customers On-prem and Cloud initiatives and the impact they can have on their business and mapping NetApp's products to help solve some of their most complex data problems.
Job Requirements
Prospecting and meeting setting customers
- Building relationships with customer and partners to build the territory and handle volume business
- Identifying qualified accounts and executing outbound prospecting plays built to fill your pipeline.
- Generating your pipeline by leveraging NetApp's suite of products to attack a broad set of buyers in a tail end of potential accounts.
- Guiding deals through their buying process effectively and efficiently.
- Unearthing collecting and maintaining the data needed for effective forecasting.
- Closing deals and achieving sales quota.
- Independently handling customer and partner conversations
- Ability to travel and meet customers & partners in the their respective territory
- Gain market knowledge through various sources
- Mentor / coach distributor sales reps for market expansion
- Able to strategize accounts , opportunity closures
- Becoming a master of our Advanced Value Selling techniques and leveraging them on a day to day basis.
- Building trust and legitimacy with prospects.
- Partnering with other NetApp functions to ensure customer advocacy.

Education
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree with 1-2 years of job experience
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications is a plus
