Overview
Manages and coordinates the operations and reports for global payroll related activities. The manager oversees the payroll functions of processing timecards, compiling and reporting payroll statistics, preparation and submission of tax payments and reporting, maintaining payroll control records, and ensuring timely and accurate work. This role will lead and manage a team of payroll partners, providing guidance and support to ensure the accurate and timely processing of global payroll. The primary focus of this position is to optimize global payroll operations, enhance compliance with federal, state, and host country regulations and improve overall efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manages the payroll and tax preparation, processing, submissions and related reporting functions.
- Manages the timely preparation of payroll, tax reporting and financial analysis of proposed changes in compensation and benefits.
- Implements, maintains and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions.
- Establishes, reviews and maintains departmental policies and procedures.
- Interprets payroll policies for departmental staff and employees.
- Obtains policy clarifications from appropriate sources as needed.
- Provides oversight for and participates in the production of the full-cycle payroll activities.
- Ensures mapping and interfaces maintained in Payroll, Time and Absence Management platforms.
- Implements process improvements, test system changes and lead special projects within payroll.
- Ensures timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax and government payroll reporting.
- Manages preparation of federal tax deposits ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensures timeliness and accuracy of quarterly and year end reconciliation and adjustments.
- Provides leadership for payroll staff in the resolution of payroll issues and questions.
- Reconciles payroll-related General Ledger accounts monthly.
- Produces ad hoc and recurring payroll reporting.
- Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
- Supervises payroll staff to include developing, training, evaluating performance and recommending promotions, transfers and/or disciplinary action.
- Works closely with other Human Resources functions to maintain data integrity and ensure consistency, accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications
- 5 plus years' experience processing timekeeping and payroll with prior experience in payroll management, supervisor, or lead role OR
- 7 plus years' experience in progressive leadership roles within the OMBP with an understanding of our global payroll functions.
- Proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office (advanced skills with pivot tables, v-lookup etc.).
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous and deadline-driven attributes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field from an accredited university
- Prior experience using ADP time and attendance and payroll systems.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation.
- Active membership with payroll certification organizations such as American Payroll Association.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
