Overview

The Technology Product Analyst plays a crucial role in the Product Delivery Model, leveraging the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology to ensure the successful delivery of the product. This role involves collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with the product roadmap and enterprise strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring they align with the product vision and roadmap and define the success criteria for the product.
  • Utilize SAFe principles to facilitate the planning, execution, and delivery of technology products.
  • Elicit, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements using techniques such as requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, use cases, scenarios, and data analysis.
  • Create and maintain detailed product backlogs, including Epics, Features, Stories, and Non-Functional Requirements, ensuring they are prioritized and aligned with strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in PI (Program Increment) Planning sessions to define and prioritize work items for upcoming sprints.
  • Develop and present requirements using various models, prototypes, and scenarios to ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the product lifecycle, managing changes through effective change management practices.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to understand system capabilities and integrate them into the product roadmap.
  • Participate in third-party vendor evaluation and selection (e.g. RFP).
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing best practices to enhance product quality and delivery.
  • Conduct competitive research and data analysis to inform product decisions and strategies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in a Technology Product Analyst role, preferably within a SAFe environment.
  • Strong understanding of SAFe principles and practices.
  • Advanced skills in requirements analysis and documentation.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools such Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and technologies (e.g., Azure).
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, including advanced knowledge of Excel and Visio.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a product team and with other cross functional teams.
  • Experience in vendor management and evaluation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with financial industry standards and practices.
  • Knowledge of digital banking transformation.
  • Experience with agile delivery frameworks, such as Azure DevOps.
  • Certification in SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or similar.
