Overview
Support the Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) Office in the development and maintenance of Data Access management. Understand business needs and identify opportunities to mature The Data Access policies and best practices. Understand business needs and identify opportunities to mature data quality capabilities. Support the EDG Office in the development, implementation, and management of Navy Federal's data governance policies, standards, and procedures. Assist in implementing and managing frameworks designed to identify, evaluate, and manage data governance controls across the organization or a particular business. Identify, measure, and report on compliance with data governance requirements.

- Provide advisory services and support execution of Enterprise Data Governance plans to enable the safe use of Enterprise data.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify and implement data access controls/processes aligned with data access framework.
- Establish data access controls/processes to minimize risks and meet emerging needs.
- Provide oversight and training to stakeholders responsible for approving/auditing user access to Enterprise data.
- Participate in data access compliance reviews and coordinate issue resolution activities.
- Foster alignment across Enterprise Data Governance, Risk and Information Security goals and objectives.
- Design data access management metrics in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Serve as Data Governance Product Owner for Data Access Management.
- Effectively communicate and present standards, and procedures to business stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in implementing industry identity and access management best practices in.
- Timeline Development: Ability to create detailed project timelines, manage deadlines, and ensure timely completion of project activities.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with other teams across the organization.
- Communication: Clear and concise communication skills to articulate project goals, progress, and challenges to stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical skills to identify and resolve blockers and improve processes.
- Leadership: Leading initiatives, guiding teams, and driving projects to completion.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and new technologies.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in reporting, data management, and compliance processes.
- Self-Driven: Ability to work independently to accomplish objectives.
Desired Qualification(s)
- Familiarity with data governance industry best practices.
- Knowledge of Navy Federal Infrastructure: Understanding the technical aspects of these systems to clear blockers effectively.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM
