Overview
Plan, install, and/or support ETS equipment to include (but not limited to) routers, switches, modems and other circuit specific devices associated with local and wide area network. Lead complex/difficult tasks of considerable scope and latitude requiring advanced analysis.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with team members, management, key stakeholders and/or external contacts (vendors, etc.)
- Diagnose issues regarding branch, network and ATM infrastructure to include Cisco Routers, Switches, and Network circuits; take appropriate action
- Document operating procedures for installations, configurations and /or administration tasks
- Formulate and administer equipment maintenance program to include troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of the devices
- Maintain inventory control documentation on systems and components to ensure operating system and patch updates occur according to schedule
- Perform installation and configuration of network routers and switches as applicable
- Train team members and/or peers on functional processes and procedures
- Develop, test and implement systems and equipment; document results
- Evaluate and test new equipment for applicability in the environment
- Creates change tickets as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Significant experience in Network Engineering/ Network Operations
- Significant knowledge of Cisco Routers, switches, Palo Alto firewalls, and Wireless access points
- Experience with SDwan technologies
- Experience supporting global infrastructure
- Ability to document and apply policies, standards and procedures
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience in leading, guiding, training and mentoring others
- Experience in presenting technical solutions and/or recommendations
- Knowledge of technical inter-relationships between software/hardware and IT systems
- Advanced organizational, planning and time management skills
- Advanced research, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Advanced skill in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Hours: Rotating Day Shift, 6:00AM - 6:00PM
