Overview
To plan, direct and develop Enterprise Change Strategy initiatives and execution plans. Provide forward-thinking, industry perspective and understanding of changing business trends and needs. Influence organizational acceptance, adoption and embracement of staffing, process and technology solutions to achieve desired strategic business outcomes. Align and prioritize change initiatives to the enterprise strategy and culture which promotes employee experience and engagement. Partner with department leadership to ensure change management project teams and results including team formation, governance and resources are aligned with the strategic vision of the company.
Responsibilities
- Guide and direct department strategy, priorities, goals and resources; evaluate and implement standards to measure performance and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
- Establish, develop and lead strategies to create a strong sense of organizational culture and to support employee change while influencing the employee experience
- Create and execute the long term strategic direction and roadmap centered around best in class initiatives leveraging data to implement strategies that promote and achieve a culture of excellence
- Serve as a liaison and collaborate with the business units and channels to ensure a common understanding of Navy Federal's long term strategy
- Serve as advocate and champion for change and employee experience that drives alignment and buy-in across the organization
- Provide broad level of leadership to large strategic projects or programs
- Bring external perspective and ideas from relevant sources, keep current with technology, government/policy impacts and industry best practices
- Guide the development of workforce strategy and resource plan (skills, competencies, team size) for each service
- Provide input and/or prepare budget requirements for Annual Financial Plan (AFP)
- Ensure downstream section/branch goals and objectives align with company, division/department strategy
- Ensure compliance with Navy Federal's standards, practices and processes
- Perform other related duties as assigned or appropriate

Qualifications
- Extensive experience in supervising and leading professional employees
- Extensive experience implementing strategic initiatives to support organizational objectives
- Extensive experience demonstrating thought-leadership, initiative-taking, decision-making and creativity solving business problems
- Advanced skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and concisely
- Expert skill to influence, negotiate and persuade to reach agreeable exchange and positive outcomes
- Expert skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
- Expert analytical/quantitative, reconciliation and deductive reasoning skills
- Expert skill leading with diplomacy and tact while maintaining appropriate assertiveness and persistence
- Expert skill in results-oriented leadership in a challenging environment
- Expert skill influencing and building consensus with business partners
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of NFCU operations, processes and procedures
- Master's Degree in Business or other related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
