As part of the Corporate Development Team at NAVEX, you will be responsible for assessing, prioritizing, and driving strategic business and for all aspects of strategic acquisitions. Your expertise will be imperative to corporate deal making, strategy development, potential target identification, deal sourcing and deal execution. Your contributions are high impact as you lead initiatives to build global alliances, partnerships and programs to drive growth in a dynamic environment.

What you'll do:
- Collaborate with executive management to develop segment and/or market strategies
- Define the role of investments, acquisitions and partnerships.
- Source and analyze acquisition and divestiture opportunities that align with NAVEX's strategies
- Model extensive financial structures and returns, business plans and commercial arrangements
- Prepare and present opportunities for review by executive management
- Lead due diligence, structuring and negotiations
- Establish top corporate development initiatives alongside key stakeholders: sales, marketing, product management and engineering
- Create and implement business development/growth plans designed to maintain and increase existing business and capture new opportunities
- Grow new business opportunities through market intelligence and identifying prospects
- Develop and cultivate new relationships while maintaining business current relations
- Execute business development growth plans to achieve companies' profitability goals
What you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree in business or related degree, MBA preferred
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate development
- Experience in enterprise software or SaaS industry
- Deep understanding of software and technology markets
- Creativity to identify unique opportunities and concepts.
- Substantial track record of M&A closing experience and partnership experience.
- Strong analytical and financial skills to manage complex financial transactions, research and strategy
- Ability to drive results through NAVEX core competencies of accountability, customer focus, drives results and instills trust

- The starting pay range for this role is $140,000+ per annum with 5% MBO.
