Navan is looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Institution (FI) Partnerships to own and grow our FI partner ecosystem. This role will be responsible for managing key FI relationships, ensuring their success, and driving revenue through strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is eager to build and scale our FI partnerships from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
- Manage & Grow FI Partnerships – Own relationships with our financial institution partners, ensuring alignment, engagement, and mutual success.
- Drive Revenue – Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to generate opportunities and maximize partnership impact.
- Operational Excellence – Handle day-to-day partnership operations, including partner enablement, performance tracking, and contract management.
- Cross-Functional Leadership – Work closely with sales, marketing, product, engineering, finance, and legal to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
- Strategic Execution – Develop and execute strategies to optimize FI partnerships and maximize revenue impact.

- Experience in Partnership Management – 5+ years in partnerships, business development, or a related role, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services.
- FI Expertise – Deep understanding of financial institutions and their partnership models.
- Hands-On Operator – Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team with a “roll up your sleeves” mentality.
- Strong Relationship Builder – Ability to manage external stakeholders and drive collaboration across internal teams.
- Strategic Thinker & Doer – Capable of high-level strategic planning while executing on tactical day-to-day needs.
- Adaptability – Thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period.
