As a Senior Financial Analyst on Navan’s Strategic Finance team, your role will be critical in accelerating Navan’s strategic roadmap and taking on a variety of operational and strategic initiatives. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

What You’ll Do: 

You will play a key part in Navan’s annual planning, quarterly board reporting, and monthly financial performance review processes, managing project milestones, and developing customized reporting for senior leadership. 

  • Lead and own monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, while ensuring both accuracy and timeliness
  • Develop customized reporting solutions by leveraging advanced analytics and data visualization tools to provide clear insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with department leads to track expenses, review forecasts, and provide transparent financial insights
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and respond to leadership requests
  • Monitor and track project milestones across multiple initiatives, ensuring timely completion and clear communication of any changes or risks
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve existing financial processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams where necessary

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA, CPA, CFA) is preferred
  • 3+ years of work experience, ideally in one of the following areas Investment Banking, Public Accounting, Consulting, or Corporate Finance
  • Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, high-quality work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Detail-oriented problem solver with a track record of driving process improvements
  • Ability to build trust with stakeholders and leaders across the organization and drive results through soft skills, not through mandates
  • Thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving, and high-intensity environments
  • Position is located in New York
  • Nice to have experience working with NetSuite, Workday, Greenhouse, and Anaplan
The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.

For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
