We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable People Success Generalist to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting our Customer Support agents across the United States. This role is based in our New York or San Francisco office with the expectation of 4 days a week in office.

What You’ll Do:

Employee Relations:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support on People policies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
- Counsel managers and employees on performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.

Talent Management:
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new and departing employees.
- Support performance management initiatives
- Contribute to talent development programs and initiatives.

HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support leave of absence processes, including FMLA, ADA, and other related programs.

Project Management & Initiatives:
- Lead and support various People projects and initiatives, such as process improvements, policy development, and employee engagement programs.
- Develop and implement creative solutions to address People challenges and improve employee experience.

Partnership & Collaboration:
- Build strong relationships with employees and managers at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
- Work closely with the recruiting team to ensure a smooth handoff for new hires and debrief on learnings

Communication:
- Effectively communicate with employees and managers to answer questions and provide support regarding policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Coach leadership on how to navigate scenarios and give thoughtful recommendations on next steps.

What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience preferred as HR Generalist in a tech or fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, etc.).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Experience supporting customer support or G&A teams is a plus.
- Ability to work in a hybrid or remote environment.
- Nice to have but Not Required: experience supporting hourly employees or call center
For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
