As a Business Information Technician, you'll prepare statistical reports from business support systems. We'll count on you to maintain information in internal systems, databases and custom software applications.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develops, produces and maintains ad hoc and custom reports for internal information needs and analysis.
Assists in maintaining the integrity of information in internal databases.
Retrieves data from external and internal sources in order to keep internal data bases current and usable.
Shares reports and information as assigned.
Prepares special exhibits as assigned.
May assist in the maintenance of personal computer hardware and software.
Participates in special projects and teams as assigned.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Manager. Individual contributor role.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: High school or technical school studies. Undergraduate studies preferred.
Experience: No experience necessary with related degree; or, three years in lieu of degree.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Office practices and procedures, Prefer familiarity with insurance and/or financial services and related functional area. Basic understanding of information reporting, analysis and research. Verbal and written communication skills for interaction within the functional area, information documentation and report formulation. Ability to understand business information needs and data requests Ability to work under tight time constraints. Ability to operate a personal computer with business software applications for data import/export, manipulation, reporting and analysis.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Overtime Eligibility: Eligible (Non Exempt)
