Job Summary:

Reporting to the Head of the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) this position will lead and mature a Quality Control function for the Enterprise Change Horizontal Control Program

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal and external reviews, audits, inspections, and investigations relative to standards, policies, and procedures
  • Run compliance procedures and controls and recommend appropriate governance policies
  • Advise and collaborate with stakeholders on developing standards, identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks and controlling weaknesses
  • Propose new or updated policies and procedures to promote compliance
  • Promote awareness of standards and governance to the various stakeholders and their respective business units
  • Work with internal teams to ensure risk management priorities are reflected in annual plans and initiatives
  • Measure and report on effectiveness of strategies, policies, and procedures for managing risks
  • Maintain inventory of mandated reporting and monitoring
  • Manage training plans related to standards and governance, including establishment of training curriculum, assignment, records management, and compliance monitoring and reporting

Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of experience within a large, highly-matrixed organization with recent work related to controls, standards and governance
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of and demonstrated experience interpreting and applying one or more recognized, related compliance and/or risk management regulations and frameworks to develop governance
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Ability to prioritize work without management direction, and provide clear and documented status updates/metrics to management
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new capabilities/tools based on business needs
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex problems with minimal guidance
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with project management methodologies
  • Proven ability to drive change across Lines of Business and within stakeholder teams at the leadership level of large-scale organization
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate complex issues and ideas with clarity
  • Ability to holistically problem solve and "drive to yes", by clearly defining goals, connections, linkages and interdependencies
  • Strong work ethic, ability to make decisions with imperfect information, and work under tight deadlines
  • Experience with process design and mapping, procedure writing, control development and execution
  • Excellent consultative skills with ability to influence and align across organizational silos and work with a diverse audience at all levels of staff
  • Must be confident, self-starter, self-motivated individual who really enjoys the challenge that comes with driving, consulting, training, and mentoring groups on managing change
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills

The typical base pay range for this role is between $125K - $150K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
