The Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Platforms Team manages the prioritization and implementation of the Wealth Management Division's investments in technology tools and solutions for Financial Advisors and branch support staff. The team works directly with Financial Advisors and all Wealth Management businesses to help translate business needs into technology initiatives.
We are seeking an experienced Vice President to support our Wealth Management Field Experience & Platforms (WMFEP) team in Budapest, Hungary. This individual will be responsible for supporting the building out, leading and managing the function, ensuring effective risk management practices, regulatory compliance, and adherence to internal policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
- Support the set-up, expansion, and management of the function, including recruiting, training, and onboarding of new staff.
- Ensures quality service within SLAs to internal clients (i.e., Department Heads).
- Liaise with department heads across WM Investment Platforms to ensure effective team performance and gather any feedback and areas of development across the team.
- Maintains appropriate staffing levels (recruiting, hiring, reassigning at peak times, etc.).
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Assist with developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and guidelines governing the function and its operations in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Identify and develop areas for improvement including system enhancement, process controls to improve the throughput, quality of work, supervisory reviews.
- Ensure staff receive appropriate training & development, assist in developing training plans & provide coaching where necessary.
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Utilize governance/reporting framework for providing status updates to WMP onshore leadership.
- Support project management and execution of strategic projects across WMFEP including but not limited client relationship management and engagement initiatives.
- Manage program delivery ensuring clear communication regarding priorities, progress, schedule and assessment of risks and issues
- Work in partnership with stakeholders across businesses, technology, and designers to execute on strategic project deliverables
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree will be a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in Wealth Management operations or related roles dealing with product platforms, large scale solutions, or being part of a large scale transformation project.
- Experience in setting up/managing/leading high performing teams.
- Strong analytical & critical reasoning skills.
- Ability to work with global and cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and senior stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications are desirable.
- Agile work experience a plus.
