Wealth Management Technology Business Manager (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Business Manager to support one of Wealth Management Technology's Practice Area Groups (PAG). The candidate will be a part of the Finance's Business Management organization, supporting the PAG's business management functions, including resource management, financial management, external vendor management, real estate planning, and other related activities. The candidate is expected to demonstrate expertise in financial management functions and processes, act as a trusted business partner on behalf of the organization and serve as the strategic interface between the PAG leadership team and the broader COO organization and its supporting functions.

The ideal candidate is flexible, highly adaptable in a fast-paced environment, and an excellent team player. The incumbent should expect to work in a global and virtual team that spans across multiple time zones. The applicant is able to juggle multiple priorities, is able to take ownership and accountability of key deliverables, and functions as a liaison to the central business management teams.

What you'll do in the role:
  • Provide analytical and process support to PAG leadership and deliver excellent customer service through actionable solutions, which enables stakeholders in the organization to evaluate and make strategic decisions, in order to drive commercial success.
  • Financial management: Responsible for financial oversight including budgeting, forecasting, financial performance, allocations, vendor demand, invoicing and accruals, application Total Cost of Ownership and lifecycle management, optimization, and T&E/training.
  • Portfolio management: Ensuring that programs and projects reflect the business targets and structure for how the Book of Work is being delivered, monitor software capitalization, manage business and provider targets and allocations, and monitoring and managing RTB related forecast.
  • Resource management: Responsible for overall resource management including work force strategy execution and scenario planning, hire approvals and tracking, on-boarding and off-boarding resources, contingent worker compliance, space management/planning, staffing hygiene oversight and related activities.
  • Organizational governance and other: Responsible for supporting organizational activities including cost center and department structure maintenance, related leadership presentations, and other related activities.

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, and/or Accounting with a minimum of 3-7 years of experience in Finance and/or Technology Business Management
  • Experience with resource level headcount and financial budgeting
  • Have an understanding of financial principles such as Software Capitalization and accrual basis accounting
  • Demonstrated ability to create concise and cogent management reporting
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills
  • Ability to influence in a matrix environment, and drive change throughout the organization, across departments and levels
  • Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint including Pivot Tables, vlookups, embedded formulas, and data manipulation
  • Thorough attention to detail and precision
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to implement structure where needed
