The Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Field Experience & Platforms Team manages the prioritization and implementation of the Wealth Management Division's investments in technology tools and solutions for Financial Advisors and branch support staff. The team works directly with Financial Advisors and all Wealth Management businesses to help translate business needs into technology initiatives. The Business Analyst will be responsible for helping to implement and maintain a suite of platforms in support of the next best action campaign management solution across various sales groups, product business lines, and support functions. They will proactively contribute to changes in processes and procedures with the goal of driving productivity gains.

Our Business Analysts wear many hats on their projects and are responsible for everything from requirements gathering, testing, training and post deployment support. As a Business Analyst, you will work alongside Solution Architects and Technical Architects to design, develop, and deploy large-scale enterprise solutions all while learning and growing your skill set.
You will:
- Interact daily with business units and business owners to understand business processes and key requirements, proactively work to resolve client issues.
- Translate overall business and product strategy into technical requirements to be developed.
- Create clear, concise and complete functional specifications & requirements documents (user stories).
- Collaborate with support partners (Legal, Risk, Compliance) to ensure are changes are made in line with firm policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with developers to test and verify that solutions will meet the business requirements.
- Prioritize work based on needs and constraints in an agile software development environment.
- Present planned work to key stakeholders from business, technology, user experience, risk, fraud, communications, legal & compliance to obtain approvals.
- Promote a data-driven mindset in strategic thinking.
- Engage with and train user personnel in the use of the system.
You have:
- 4+ years of professional experience in business and/or data analysis
- Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar Products to develop client or business solutions
- Strong ability to represent and document business processes, interaction flows, data flow processes, use cases, test cases, business requirements, user stories, etc.
- Strong knowledge of solution development methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, SDLC)
- Effective in managing multiple parallel work streams and initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detailed, organized, and results-oriented
- Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high energy, team-oriented environment
- BS/BA degree required. Advanced degrees a plus.
You might also have:
- Experience on a Salesforce implementation through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); Salesforce Financial Services Cloud experience a plus
- Advanced understanding of MS applications with focus on data analysis (Excel), process flow (Visio), documentation (Word, OneNote) and presentations (PowerPoint)

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $130,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
