The Wealth Management National Sales organization, within Investment Solutions, supports the Firm's Financial Advisors by managing the field sales support of non-banking products and the business development functions for our branch network.

The Morgan Stanley Concentrated Equity Team is a specialized group within National Sales, dedicated to educating and engaging advisors and clients on our comprehensive suite of concentrated equity solutions.
The Concentrated Equity Director will report to the Head of Concentrated Equity and act as a subject matter expert, collaborating closely with specialist teams across Investment Solutions, the Global Investment Office (GIO), MSIM and external partners. This role will take a holistic, product-agnostic approach to advisor engagements, supporting the Firm's Advisory, Capital Markets, and Alternative Solutions businesses. The Director will play a key role in FA/PWA understanding and adoption of concentrated equity strategies.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Morgan Stanley's Concentrated Equity Solutions, including Advisory (Direct Indexing, UMA Tax Management, Equity/Options Overlay SMA Managers, Planned Giving), Capital Markets (Derivatives, Options, Research) and Alternatives (Exchange Funds, Hedge Funds)
• Provide advice and guidance to FAs/PWAs to develop and implement holistic and tailored solutions for clients that address key considerations of concentrated equity (diversification, tax, risk)
• Actively participate in meetings with current and prospective clients as well as national and regional forums
• Work directly with key stakeholders to drive metrics (NAA, retention, product flows)
• 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a sales, trading or investment specialist type role; Wealth Management experience preferred
• Deep understanding and familiarity of Morgan Stanley's branch network and Financial Advisors
- Highly motivated, well-organized, ability to prioritize competing asks, and able to execute responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics to audiences of varying knowledge levels
- Enjoys working with people and solving client problems; requires interpersonal professionalism
- Team player with ability to collaborate across team, function, and reporting lines
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 (or equivalent)
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $250,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
