The Internal Audit Division (IAD) drives attention and resources to vulnerabilities by providing an independent and well-informed view and impactful messages about the most important risks facing our Firm. This is accomplished by performing a range of assurance activities to independently assess the quality and effectiveness of Morgan Stanley's system of internal control, including risk management and governance systems and processes. IAD serves as an objective and independent function within the Firm's risk management framework to foster continual improvement of risk management processes.
This is a Vice President level position (P5) within the Internal Operations and Quality Control family, which is responsible for efficient and effective functioning of the department, supporting the ultimate delivery of high quality assurance services.

What you'll do in the role:
- Responsible for the end to end delivery of the team to ensure timely completion of validation activities in accordance with the methodology and also ensuring quality of the deliverables
- Participate in end-to-end Issue Management process and ensure it is in compliance with Issue Management requirements as well as draw themes coming out of the same and present it in senior management forums
- Effectively communicate with senior stakeholders and IA leadership through clear and concise reporting, timely escalations and discussing inputs to refine the operating model and drive efficiencies in the process
- Foster relationships with team and collaborate across other all teams effectively
- Managing recruitment and training requirements of the team
What you'll bring to the role:
- 10+ years' experience within Audit or Control functions (like Risk management or Compliance) within banking industry
- Strong understanding of audit principles, methodology, tools and processes especially issue validation process
- Ability to ask meaningful questions, understand various viewpoints and adapt messaging accordingly
- Experience in setting up and managing large teams
- Ability to understand and adopt new audit tools and techniques and participate in learning and development opportunities to ensure the use of best in class processes and procedures
- Strong communications skills and ability to interact and articulate messages with senior stakeholders within the department
- A commitment to practicing inclusive behaviours
- Previous audit experience with a complex or medium size bank or broker dealer
- Project management skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently

• Monday to Friday from 12:00PM to 9:00PM India time with flexibility on standard working hours for time sensitive matters.
• Periodic evening calls with US and EMEA Internal Auditors and auditees.
