In an effort to protect client assets, provide a safe and secure banking environment, and minimize financial loss to the Firm from systematic security risk, the Fraud department (within CDRR), as the firm's 1st line of defense, is tasked with implementing the firm fraud strategy, continuously enhancing fraud controls with the existing and acquired businesses, monitoring client account activities, investigating fraud incidents, managing targeted fraud attack events, mitigating potential fraud losses, performing root cause analysis and lessons learned, and educating employee and clients to raise fraud awareness. This role is within the Fraud Strategy and controls group.

  • US coverage for product owner role and prioritization of product roadmap, release planning, and development and communication of business requirements.
  • Support prioritized product backlog identify, groom, and validate epics and user stories for agile sprints.
  • Assist with backlog refinement and sprint planning ceremonies to communicate requirements.
  • Work alongside the BA to specify acceptance criteria, review testing cases/scenarios and perform and oversee user acceptance testing as needed.
  • Work closely with the technology team to assure effective communication of requirements and rapid delivery of projects and Fraud controls.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders from business, technology to elicit requirements
  • Prepare presentations, user demos, and status updates.
  • Gather, organize, and assimilate internal and external feedback to identify and prioritize gaps, enhancements, and new features.
  • Organize and project management of timelines across various initiatives.
  • Define, collect, and track KPIs and product/program adoption and metrics for IBR updates, using data-driven insights to refine and improve continually.
  • Understanding of the Fraud landscape, Morgan Stanley business areas will be beneficial. Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree will be a plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a BA/PO or systems analyst with track record of delivering within an agile/scrum development process

Skills Required

  • Proven track record of delivering successfully on time and within scope and experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Salary range for the position: $140,000 - 180,000 Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
