The Digital Client Onboarding team defines and drives the online and mobile experiences for client onboarding at ETRADE.com and Morgan Stanley Online. Our goal is to provide clear, user-friendly digital experiences that will help enable our clients to reach their financial goals by allowing them to easily open and fund new accounts. Our user experiences are targeted to users across a wide-ranging set of products, including self-directed brokerage, retirement, banking, stock plan, and robo-advisor, and more.

We are seeking a smart, passionate, detail-oriented team player who loves interacting with a diverse set of people solving tough problems and challenging the status quo. The individual in this role will be responsible for leading an agile team in defining, building, and enhancing end-to-end client onboarding user journeys for a variety of new and existing products at Morgan Stanley and E
TRADE. The applicant should bring a strong product management skillset with an ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative metrics to understand our business and measure success. Key desired attributes include strong communication skills, strategic thinking and planning, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the firm.

Job Responsibilities
  • Product owner for a digital agile squad responsible for defining, building, and enhancing end-to-end client onboarding user experiences to meet target audience needs consistent with product strategy and vision
  • Identify and elaborate on critical user journeys, use cases, workflows, and business processes that align with the product vision/goals and address critical user and control needs
  • Build and maintain prioritized product backlog - identify, groom, and validate epics and user stories for agile sprints; Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning ceremonies to communicate requirements and drive consensus with squad and program stakeholders
  • Work closely with the technology team to assure effective communication of requirements and rapid delivery of key product releases
  • Facilitate product development lifecycle from defining product vision/scope to launching MVP to ongoing management of product to meet KPIs; Drive definition and prioritization of product roadmap, release planning, and development and communication of business requirements
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders from business, technology, UX, risk, cyber & fraud, communications, legal & compliance to elicit requirements
  • Prepare presentations, user demos, and status updates
  • Gather, organize, and assimilate internal and external feedback to identify and prioritize product gaps, enhancements, and new features
  • Collaborate with UI/UX team to develop information/interaction architecture, user flows, wireframes, and visual design comps
  • Team up with program management office to effectively organize and plan product releases
  • Define and track KPIs and product/program adoption and usage metrics - evangelize adoption Work with stakeholders to define product strategy and direction for Morgan Stanley / E*TRADE's digital client onboarding product offerings.
  • Leverage competitive analysis to understand our business and our build the best digital solutions.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholder teams to define business requirements and user stories.

Qualifications/Skills
  • 5-7 years of experience as software or digital product manager, business analyst or equivalent with experience working within an agile/scrum development process
  • Proficient at defining, analyzing, documenting, and communicating product and software requirements in an agile software development setting
  • Keen intellect - ability to gather, analyze and synthesize a significant amount of information, and turn it into clear and actionable product requirements
  • Naturally curious, analytical and data-driven - demonstrated track record of utilizing data to measure performance, identify opportunities, and make successful decisions
  • Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers and developers to deliver client-friendly products and user experiences
  • Understanding and knowledge of web and mobile technologies
  • Written and verbal communication skills able to effectively interact and influence a diverse set of business and technical stakeholders
  • Efficient at managing multiple projects and initiatives concurrently under deadline constraints
  • Thought-leader - strong familiarity with industry trends and best practices, and a perspective on how to advance the current state-of-play
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Knowledge or exposure to wealth management and online brokerage/banking preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering new innovative fintech, digital products, solutions, or applications preferred

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $185,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
