Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks to fill the position of Vice President, DB Dev & Engineering in New York, NY.
Analyzing and capturing requirements across multiple downstream and upstream systems. Analyzing business concepts and flows for building of Data warehouses. Integrating systems into a common data model. Liaising with various data owners and functional data stewards to design the data model. Architect logical data models and consumption marts to house the expanded data sets to support new business requirements. Create and maintain data dictionary supporting data architecture.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $193000 and $200000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as an I.T. Analyst, Consultant, or a related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience with: Power Designer; DBArtisan; SQL Developer; Oracle 10g; Sybase; DB2; SQL; Agile Scrum and Waterfall Methodologies; JIRA; Investment Management; Reference Data; Risk and Compliance; data analytics using Tableau.
