Overview
The Morgan Stanley Wealth Management UX team builds digital experiences that help our clients manage their finances and monitor their investments easily on the Morgan Stanley and E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley platforms.

We're looking for a UX Designer to help with Morgan Stanley's family of products to enhance the user experience and drive user engagement. You'll be involved in efforts to build, iterate, and improve upon our tools - automate selections, and rethink and integrate new, complex workflows in an intuitive manner.

What will you be doing?
- Working closely with the UX lead, help execute the product vision by being involved in every step of the end-to-end design process
- Research and define the underlying needs and motivation of our clients to ensure we achieve business goals and provide value to our clients
- Craft intuitive, elegant and holistic experiences that empower our clients to make confident financial decisions
- Create and present a variety of design deliverables (wireframes, user journey maps, prototypes etc) in a way that engenders confidence in you and your solutions with the team and the greater organization
- Design and deliver responsive/adaptive solutions that are optimized for web and mobile interfaces and partner with engineers to translate designs into successful products
- Work closely with the larger Wealth Management UX team to share design best practices, align on patterns, and promote a design-centric culture at the firm
- Advocate for all user abilities by thoroughly testing design deliverables to meet WCAG ADA compliance Relevant experience and mindset
What we're looking for:
- An outstanding portfolio that demonstrates how you have created experiences that solved business and user needs
- Evidence of leveraging research and user feedback to shape solutions
- Someone who thrives on collaborating and values being part of a diverse team
- Excellent Figma skills
- 3+ years as a UX designer
- An active listener and contributor in group situations, like brainstorms, audits, critiques, and whiteboard sessions
- A degree in design or related field
