We're seeking someone to join our team as a Risk Management Professional to support the expansion of Central ETS Risk Management Reporting by providing greater capacity to deliver on the expanded ETS risk book of work. The nature of the work will impact on the risk and regulatory agenda and support the organisation in transparency and remediation.

The Risk Reporting function supports ETS in delivering the risk agenda through working with Technology SMEs and Risk Management to identify, track and reduce risk in the environment.

This Risk Manager is responsible for collaborating across the Risk lines of defense and ETS divisional management, to support the super-departments and division team in identifying risks and tracking remediation through to conclusion. The role will vary from risk reporting to project tracking, supporting management in managing the ETS Risk book of work. The role is in a fast-paced environment and requires the successful candidate to operate independently and is execution oriented.

This is a Risk & Resilience Management III position at associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure operational continuity and resilience in the face of potential threats or disruptions that could impact the organization, plus management of ongoing incidents.

What you'll do in the role:
  • Coordinate the organization's response to significant risk events and resilience challenges.
  • Lead the planning and execution of business continuity and disaster recovery exercises.
  • Prepare and present risk and resiliency reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory requirements related to risk and resiliency management.
  • Support the risk function in driving cross super-department coordination on risk remediation activities.
  • Develop reports and analyze data on risk activity to support presentation to senior management.
  • Partner with ETS Technologists, Senior Management and Risk Management functions to deliver risk reduction projects and initiatives.
  • Demonstrate good time management, the ability to prioritize tasks and to meet deadlines across multiple projects - this role will require the ability to change contexts. Skill Requirements:
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Have a thirst for performing detailed analysis of large volumes of data and shaping data in to value add insights.
  • Exposure to the project lifecycle, project coordination or project management.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work across functional disciplines
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment while juggling multiple tasks.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong problem-solving
  • High attention to details, highly organized and goal oriented

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Risk Management, Business Continuity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Awareness of global regulatory requirements and industry standards in risk and resiliency management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in reporting to senior management.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior staff in risk and resiliency practices.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Desirable Skills:
  • Manage risk, issue and dependency identification, coordination of mitigation / remediation work
  • Have a good awareness of the lifecycle of risk (identification/assessment/mitigation)
  • Ability to build strong relationships across various stakeholder groups (technologists/system owners/1 LOD/2 LOD etc)
  • Manage risk, issue and dependency identification, coordination of mitigation / remediation work
  • A background in project or risk management within Financial Services within a technical realm
  • Experience operating in an Agile environment.
  • Experience of data visualization tools such as Qlikview
  • Certification in risk or project management (eg CRISC, CISSP, PMP)
