We're seeking someone to join our Technology Risk Governance team as a Risk and Resilience Management Associate in the Governance, Regulatory and Client Engagement (GRCE) super department to facilitate Technology Risk Management and Governance practices across the organization. The role will support the Technology Risk Management Policy agenda across multiple teams in all lines of defence working to facilitate appropriate governance, oversight, management, reporting and escalation of Technology Risk.

This is a Risk & Resilience Management position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure operational continuity and resilience in the face of potential threats or disruptions that could impact the organization, plus management of ongoing incidents.

What you'll do in the role:
- Contribute to the function through complex project tasks and initiatives.
- Interact regularly with team members and occasionally leadership on a range of topics.
- Support design, implementation and operational effectiveness of Firmwide Technology Risk Management and Governance Controls
- Support the execution of Technology Risk Management and Governance Controls
- Support the organisation, planning and delivery of formal Technology Risk and Governance Committees with exposure to senior leadership.
- Design and implement best practice guidance for risk and issue management across Technology.
- Support Technology divisions adoption of Technology Risk Management and Governance Controls.
- Facilitate enhanced governance processes across the network of established and emerging Risk and Governance Committees.
- Interact regularly with team members and occasionally leadership on a range of topics.
- Liaise directly with key stakeholders across all lines of defence.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Technology Risk Management framework.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment of risk strategies with business objectives.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level team members.
- Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Ability to process information, translate into plans and present summaries to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Risk Management, Governance, Business Management, or equivalent experience (e.g. ISACA CGEIT).
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Products, predominantly Excel (comfort with formulae such as vLookups) and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of global regulatory requirements and industry standards in Technology Risk Management and Governance.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional team deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in reporting to senior management.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
- Business Intelligence/ Data Analytics Software experience (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) user experience key, developer experience beneficial.
