We're seeking someone to join our team as a Technical Product Owner within a Squad driving the product strategy and delivery across a suite of communication and collaboration technologies. Stakeholders will include Application Development, Legal & Compliance, Risk, Information Management and front office Business lines across the firm. The role will also liaise with supporting vendors, which can include coordinating contractual requirements and vendor SLAs.

This is a Software Engineering II position at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs.

What you'll do in the role:
• Establish and maintain regular ceremonies with multiple stakeholder groups to manage business requirements, define product roadmaps and prioritize new demand.
• Present business cases to executives and committees to secure funding, seek agreement on product direction, gain acceptance around risks and issues.
• Ensure development and delivery teams are aligned with product strategy and customer expectations across features and timelines.
• Manage technology vendor relationships
• Partner with Sourcing and Business Management to drive supplier contracts, renewals and related spend.
• Manage products to an acceptable total cost of ownership (TCO) for stakeholders - Stay abreast of industry trends and aware of the competitor landscape.
What you'll bring to the role:
• 4+ years of relevant experience in Technology, with Financial Services exposure as a plus
• High emotional intelligence with ability to influence customer outcomes
• Competence in modern work styles (Agile, Scrum/Kanban) and tools (Jira, Roadmunk, ServiceNow etc.)
• Experience with Stakeholders engagement focused on documenting user stories and driving prioritization of the book of work
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365 (cloud offerings)
• Polished verbal and written communication abilities
• Comfortable taking ownership, risks and accountability for decisions
• Bachelor's degree or higher
