This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.

ABOUT THE TEAM
ARC (Automation, Reinvention & Collaboration) team is part of Parametric Operations. This team is core to success of Parametric Operations with a mission to empower and enable people, drive innovation, and accelerate transformation in Operations. This team works with Operations stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop prototypes, and enable citizen development. This team also works with core technology teams, championing and translating operational business SME with technology implementation SME.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the global Operations team, the Senior Operations Workflow Engineer is a hands-on contributor in automation, workflow, metrics, and reporting development. They play a critical role in building an ecosystem and culture of innovation, moving towards collaboration and automation while moving away from silos and manual processes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, optimize, and implement Operational process workflows with BPMN and develop decision models with DMN in Camunda
- Develop and configure APIs, connectors, and data flows to integrate Camunda with enterprise applications, databases, and third-party services
- Document workflow steps, decision logic and business rules to ensure maintainability, compliance, and knowledge sharing
- Ensure workflows comply with security, regulatory, and governance standards while following best practices in Camunda development
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end process validations for BPMN and DMN models to ensure robustness and accuracy
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze pain points, and optimize process models for efficiency and scalability
- Partner with developers to integrate workflows with existing applications
- Continuously improve workflow performance based on stakeholder feedback, real-time monitoring, and performance analytics
- Effectively leverage problem structuring to analyze and solve complex business problems
- Leverage appropriate solution design patterns and follow coding best practices (clean code, automated testing, version control, etc.) in solution development
- Independently troubleshoot workflow execution issues, optimize Camunda configurations, and resolve integration challenges
- Proactively identify and address technical and business risks
- Build and leverage a deep understanding of the Operations business and data in all aspect of work

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
SKILL SET
Required Experience: 7+ years
Skill Set: Camunda, BPMN/DMN, APIs, SQL, Java, Jira, Confluence, GitLab/GitHub/ Workflow Automation

Primary Skills
- Bachelor's Degree (4-year degree) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or similar required
- + years of software development experience as an individual contributor; with no less than 6 years of experience in continuous improvement and automation
- Workflow development with BPMN and DMN in Camunda
- Work in an Agile environment with Jira and Confluence
- Data Querying with T-SQL
- Connecting to and consuming data from APIs
- Creating and managing repositories in GitLab/GitHub
- Approaches problems with logical and systematic thinking
- Independently scope, design, and implement solutions - setting and meeting deadlines
Good to Have Skills
- Financial industry experience specially in top tier financial GCC
- Data visualization development with Tableau
- Data prep/blending development with Alteryx or Python
- Software development with Java
- Able to challenge the status-quo and 'how things have typically been done'
- Can understand business requirements and convert them into technology solutions
- Can quickly learn and innovate with 'out-of-the-box' solutions
- Effectively navigate divergent, problem space and convergent, solution space
