We're seeking a senior hands-on developer lead with strong expertise in python and Java to join Application Services Infrastructure fleet to architect and implement modern orchestration platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable and robust workflows to orchestrate applications running on the Openshift platform while also integrating the solution with the existing classical environment to deliver a seamless and unified user experience.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering Manager position at VP level, which is part of the job family responsible for managing and optimizing technical infrastructure and ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems to support business needs effectively.

What you'll do in the role:
  • Architect & be a hands-on developer within the team.
  • Implement technical solutions to manage the applications running on the modern compute platforms for both on-prem and hybrid use cases.
  • Modernize the existing projects and integrate them into the new solution that to be implemented.
  • Establish a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders and other Engineering teams to independently drive and contribute to the technical solutions.
  • Technologies will be used are Python, Java, Restful services, Kubernetes, OIDC, Postgresql etc.

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineer or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to represent the organization in industry forums and regulatory discussions.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in cloud and infrastructure practices.
  • 8+ years of extensive experience designing and implementing n-tier distributed applications in Java as a direct contributor (hands-on coding experience)
  • 8+ years of strong, hands-on Python skills
  • Practical experience working with Kubernetes services, PostgreSQL, and Linux.
  • Successful experience developing and implementing applications, with a proven and demonstrable track record of execution and delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of C++ and C#
