This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.
ABOUT TEAM
The Chief of Staff (CoS) team supports Parametric's Co-President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) in a variety of ways that will evolve on an ongoing basis. The team helps inform strategic decisions by keeping a pulse on the organization and surfacing data to provide actionable insights for the executive management team. With a particular focus on Technology and Operations, this team helps business teams focus on their day-to-day while keeping the organization running smoothly. They help managers navigate Firm Policies and processes which can be complex and subject to change. They also ensure that Parametric adheres to its budgets for software, contingent staffing, and discretionary expenses. The team must often translate ambiguity into clear direction for the rest of the organization, so skills in this area are vital to the role.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Analyst will be a member of Parametric's CoS team. This role will work across the organization and will help Parametric team members collaborate internally and with their colleagues across Morgan Stanley. This person will build relationships with internal stakeholders across the Firm, and with representatives of key vendors. This role is centered around a few key areas including Business & Data Analytics, Vendor Relations, Finance Policy and administration, and involvement in employee engagement for Technology and Operations.
Primary Responsibilities
• Organize and report data to provide timely business insights for the management team.
• Own administration responsibilities for our contingent workforce.
• Coordinate implementation activities for various ad hoc and strategic projects.
• Develop and track progress, performance, and risk metrics.
• Help ensure the CoS team follows through with all deliverable and commitments.
Business and Data Analytics:
• Curate data for reporting purposes and distill into dashboards (Tableau or Power BI) to help the Cos team run efficiently and to inform the management teams in Technology and Operations.
• Leverage project management system data as a lens into resource allocation between BAU work and strategic projects.
• Cross reference various datasets to build a holistic picture for the leadership team with careful consideration of how data might be misleading or taken out of context.
• Use data to tell stories that aid in the execution of key initiatives.
Vendor Relations:
• Contingent resource administration including opening job requisitions and processing extensions.
• Monitor budget and forecast contingent resource spend across a global footprint.
• Liaise between Parametric managers and strategic vendors to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and productive partnerships.
• Create and track metrics including KPIs/KRIs to assist the CoS in vendor relationship management.
• Analyze data to surface insights into vendor relationship quality and regional trends.
• Produce dashboards for internal use and for quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with vendors.
• Help business stakeholders navigate the Firms' vendor risk, legal, and sourcing processes.
Finance, Policy Enforcement, and General Administration:
• Integrate business unit financial tracking with reporting from Corporate Finance team to provide a multidimensional view to the COO; provide timely and targeted reporting to key stakeholders.
• Assist CoS in monitoring compliance with Firm Policies and prepare communications, dashboards, and meeting materials to ensure managers keep their teams in alignment with Firm requirements.
• Within our OKR framework, assist Key Result (KR) owners with tracking metrics that support their KRs and ensure they provide regular, meaningful updates on their progress towards completion.
• Document procedures for team use; produce training and reference materials for business teams.
Employee Engagement:
• Help organize and track networking events and other forums across offices for the Technology and Operations organizations, and in a virtual/hybrid setting, survey employees for feedback on programming.
• Assist CoS in developing curriculums for technical skills advancement and management skills across the Technology and Operations teams.
• Support managers in organizing team volunteering events.
• Collaborate with the DEI and Employee Experience team to build camaraderie and cohesion across teams in the US, India, and Singapore.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years' professional experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Refined business writing skills required.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI strongly preferred.
• Experience with data analytics, data visualization, or similar work strongly preferred.
• Financial Services or Technology organization experience is preferred.
• SQL and/or Python experience helpful but not required.
• Experience with Fieldglass and/or Workboard a plus.
• Highly organized and accountable with strong time management skills
• Work and complete work with minimal supervision; a problem solver who can "fill in the blanks" when only provided with a desired outcome.
• Collaborative relationships builder with business partners and other key stakeholders.
• Active learner, open-minded and innovative.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to calibrate messaging to various audiences
• Strong discretion regarding sensitive or confidential matters, demonstrating high ethical standards and integrity.

Salary range for the position: $70,000 - 150,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
