The Risk Capital Team provides calculation and analysis of regulatory capital in accordance with the Basel regulations. The team produces reports for the Regulators, Senior Management and other key stakeholders in the Risk Department.

You will:
-Oversee regulatory capital production, control and reporting framework to meet minimum capital requirements
-Be involved in Stress RWA analysis and review
-Participate and contribute to the delivery of large, complex regulatory projects
-Understand the Firm's portfolios and businesses from a risk standpoint
-Deliver clear, concise and precise responses to information requests from internal and external stakeholders (e.g. senior management or regulators)
-Partner with key business areas and stakeholders to assure compliance with external regulation - to meet the ever-changing regulatory environment
-Explore opportunities to increase efficiency with regards to our 'business as usual' processes (e.g. automation, new technologies, smart solutions, etc.)
-Lead a small team of risk professionals as part of the broader Risk Capital team
You have:
-Bachelor's or higher degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics and Mathematics
-5+ years of relevant work experience in the financial industry, preferably in risk management, treasury capital management or regulatory reporting
-Solid knowledge of financial markets, traded products and risk management principles
-Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
-Proficiency in use of Excel, SQL, Power Point
-Experience and/or proof of strong ability to learn programming skills Python and VBA
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
-Collaborative / Team player mindset - ability to prioritize and work effectively with colleagues to meet a common goal
-Team management experience (nice to have only)
