About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented Associate to join our Retail Business Development team at the Japan office of a leading global asset management firm, part of the Morgan Stanley Group. This junior-level position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about financial markets and eager to build a career in asset management within a truly international environment.

We welcome candidates with approximately five years of professional experience, who have developed a solid sense of responsibility, good judgment, and strong interpersonal skills through working in Japanese corporate culture. The ideal candidate is sincere, proactive, and enthusiastic about taking on new challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day activities related to retail business development
  • Assist in preparing and updating sales presentations, marketing materials, and product documents
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as the investment team, marketing, and operations
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide timely and accurate information
  • Help organize seminars, training sessions, and events for distributors
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support business development strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (finance, economics, or related field preferred)
  • Approximately 5 years of professional experience
  • Previous experience or internship in finance or asset management is an advantage but not required
  • Business-level Japanese required; English proficiency is a plus

  • リテールビジネスに関わる日常業務のサポート
  • 販売資料やプレゼンテーション資料、商品関連資料の作成・更新

Qualifications

  • 大卒以上(金融、経済、関連分野であれば尚可)
  • 約5年程度の社会人経験
  • 金融業界や資産運用業界での経験またはインターン経験があれば尚可(必須ではありません)
  • 日本語:ビジネスレベル必須/英語:できれば尚可
