This role requires strong software engineering, manual and automation test skills, and good problem-solving skills.

What you'll do in the role:
• Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber and TestNG/Junit.
• Design and develop robust, scalable and reusable automation frameworks from scratch.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to keep them up-to-date.
• Conduct automated regression testing across different browsers.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues with automated tests and frameworks.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure testing activities align with the sprint goals.
• Have a good experience in Rest Assured
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Drive End-to-End Quality Assurance activities for customer and business critical features - which includes writing detailed test plan, test strategy and test cases by liaising with Software Developers and Product teams.
• Perform functional, exploratory, user acceptance testing and automated testing as part of Software Development Lifecycle and Release Process
• Provide thought and practice leadership in Testing excellence among Software Development and Testing
• Contribute to high-velocity delivery with safety; enable agility and iterative changes to the UI and product design

What you'll bring to the role:
• At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
• Testing Expertise: Solid understanding of test automation principles and hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber.
• Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in one or more languages, such as Java, Python, JavaScript to create and maintain test scripts and frameworks.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams, including development, DevOps and product management.
• Well-versed in all testing methodologies (black box, white box, system, functional, exploratory and automated testing)
• Proven experience building high quality and comprehensive test plans and test cases custom software
• Proven experience testing web applications, web APIs and data driven applications
• Experience in an Agile delivery environment
• Strong SQL coding and debugging skills
• Exposure with AI tools.
