We're seeking someone to join our Core Access Management team as a QA Automation Lead in Identity and Access Management department of Cyber Data Risk and Resiliency (CDRR) to design, implement, and oversee comprehensive automated testing strategies within the software development lifecycle, collaborate closely with development teams to ensure high quality software delivery through continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, while leading QA Automation program and mentoring a team of software engineers focused on automation initiatives.

What you'll do in the role:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive test automation framework, selecting appropriate tools and technologies to automate functional, regression, performance, and API testing across various environments.
• Integrate automated tests seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous feedback on code quality and early defect detection.
• Design, write, and maintain automated test cases based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement in testing practices.
• Work closely with developers to identify testable requirements, review code, and facilitate defect resolution.
• Monitor test execution results, analyze trends, and identify areas for optimization in testing processes.
• Evaluate and implement new testing tools and technologies to enhance automation capabilities.
• Provide clear and concise reports on test execution status, defect metrics, and quality insights to stakeholders.
What you'll bring to the role:
• At least 6 years of experience in testing methodologies and knowledge of modern QA tools (Cucumber, Selenium, JMeter, Protractor, BDD Methodology) to test WebServices, SQL, Stored Procs and UI (User Interface).
• Experience in J2EE technologies like Spring Core, Spring AOP, Spring JDBC, JSP.
• Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) for Web Services using SOAP, REST.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python) and basic knowledge of UNIX.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps and ability to integrate automated tests within pipelines.
• Understanding of SQL queries and Stored Procedures for DB2 databases.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
